Rose is also part of Music4Unity, a music collective that brings musicians and artists together to build community and spread connection through creativity.

Working with the fabulous This Is My Culture, an LGBTQIA+ freedom party inspired by George Michael and hosted at a secret location in Hampstead Heath. I worked collaboratively with the collective to design their logo, celebrating identity, creativity and togetherness.
As part of the event’s fundraising and creative campaign, I also helped create visuals for the “This Is My Culture” exhibition, bringing the spirit and energy of the event and its message of inclusivity to life through design.

Uprising ‘Let The Record Show’
An event poster promoting a London celebration of the political history and legacy of ACT UP, from its roots in New York to its movement in London. Inspired by the iconic artwork of Keith Haring and the legendary artists and activists of the international ACT UP movement a grassroots political group that fought to end the AIDS pandemic.
Queer Tours Around London - a series of maps celebrating London’s rich queer history.
Brief designed and created by Dan Glass, queer activist extraordinaire, in collaboration with SOAS University of London. The designs map the places where legendary queer activists, communities and movements have shaped the city, highlighting the history of queer community mobilisation in the heart of London.
Bender Defender
A legendary queer self-defence group based in London, teaching martial arts as a tool for protection and empowerment in response to hate crime. The group creates a safe and supportive space for the LGBTQIA+ community to build confidence, strength and solidarity.
I created a series of illustrations for campaigns and merchandise, building on the original Bender Defender logo created by artist Mark Glasgow.
I designed a collection of birds for Birds of Paradise Theatre Company, a pioneering disability-led theatre company in Scotland. Created digitally in Procreate, each bird was carefully developed as a character, inspired by birds of paradise and celebrating disability through distinctive personalities and visual details.
The designs were created to be turned into badges as part of fundraising initiatives, giving audiences and the wider community an opportunity to engage with the project while supporting the company’s work.
Support Your Local Squat
This poster was created for the action group Squattastic, challenging the negative perceptions surrounding squatting and celebrating the important role squats have played in creating alternative spaces for creativity, community and grassroots organising.
Squats have provided homes for people living on the breadline, spaces for artists and creatives to work and gather, and places where local communities can come together and support one another.
Squats can be magical spaces.

Challenging the house crisis
For STIKE Magazine in 2011, I designed illustrations challenging the housing crisis, an issue that feels just as relevant today. The work was inspired by the Situationists and their radical visual language during the student protests and uprising in France in 1968, using art and illustration as a way to question society and challenge the status quo.

A once annual event in Reading celebrating food growing across the town, bringing together the charity Food4Families and Reading College’s catering department to celebrate the harvest.
Locally grown produce was transformed into delicious dishes by trainee chefs from the college, creating a wonderful celebration of food, growing and community. I supported the event by designing the logo, creating a visual identity that reflected the spirit of the celebration.

Back in 2011, I created the logo for Shell Out Sounds (SOS), a creative climate action initiative bringing together musicians, artists and climate groups.
The campaign used musical performances and vocal protest to challenge Shell’s corporate sponsorships and presence at its Annual General Meetings. I designed the logo to capture the energy of music, collective action and protest, creating a recognisable visual identity for the campaign.
One of my favourite commissions was for Friends of the Earth Scotland, created for their campaign promoting green energy and moving away from coal.
I wanted the illustrations to have a community carnival feel, celebrating diversity and the positive changes that can come with the green energy revolution. The aim was to make the campaign feel colourful, lively and hopeful while bringing people together around the idea of cleaner energy.
Friends Of The Earth Scotland
In the early years, I worked with a photographer and illustrator to create striking posters for Grow Heathrow, a land-based squat and community growing project resisting the proposed third runway. The work brought together climate activism, food growing and local community resistance. The posters were Riso printed, giving the work a bold, handmade quality.
Alongside the campaign work for Grow Heathrow, I created visual posters to promote workshops, events and activities taking place in the community space, helping to share and spread the word locally.
In the Name of the Suffragette
I was involved with Climate Rush, a women-led climate activist group inspired by the spirit, creativity and protest tactics of the Suffragettes.
This poster was created as part of that movement and explores the connection between historical and contemporary activism. It is now held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
